Ideas for ghost stories

-Ideas for ghost stories-
1.Use spooky characters.
2.Use objects such as body parts or scary looking paintings.
3.Describe weather and background.Backgrounds and weathers such as dark places or rainy weathers are popular.
4.Include shadows.
5.Include mysterious atmosphere.
6.And most importantly,include objects that are strangely existing without the presence of any living thing.For example,there is a fireplace in the haunted house but there seems to be nobody around.That makes readers think:how can the fire be lasting for so long?It is impossible.
Anyways,there'll be exams so I can't update much on October.
