A short story in replace of killer pens.
-Belvedores-
CHAPTER 1
A 19th century story tells of a man who kept having itches all over his body.
He explained he had been bitten,by a rather large rat.He saw many doctors and took many forms of medication,including tails of newts,a small dose of mushrooms mixed with herbs and oak leaves.Witch doctors believed it was a certain curse while medical doctors thought it was a skin disease.None of these seem to fit the good fellow with no enemies or without allergies other that milk,cheese and butter.
The man suffered all day.And little did he know the animal he was bitten by,was a Belvedore,not a rat.A creature that has green eyes and a large tail,like a rat but was not a rat.The creature's population wasn't big then.
The man suffered...till his grave.At least it cured.
That chap was lucky.He didn't experience the slow painful death caused by the poison of the Bulvedore.He just caught itchiness all over his body.
He some how felt dizzy at times where he read books or studied certain things.
He only knew one thing about the rat:it had green eyes.

CHAPTER 2
"Haven't you heard of the dog that bites the head off kids?" asked Taylor.
"Never," replied James. "Isn't that gross?" said Bailey,turning green.
"Dogs biting off children's heads?Well,I never heard of such nonsense!" Mrs Brown told Taylor,feeling disgusted as she overheard Taylor.
The group headed towards home,where they had to take a bath and attend piano lessons at seven o' clock.James headed down 5th avenue,where his big apartment was.He walked up to the 3rd floor,placed his keys into the key hole and unlocked the door.He then,closed the door behind him.He walked into the kitchen and took a look at the fridge.No notes.Great!James thought.
No chores or errands to attend to.He opened the fridge door and took a can of soda out.He placed his lips to the cool drink that he opened.As it just touched his lips,he remembered about the homework he had to complete and groaned.
Maybe he wasn't all that lucky.

CHAPTER 3
After slurping the soda down his throat,it helped James a little better,but not as good as drowning out the thoughts about homework!"Alright,let me go shower first," he told himself.He threw the empty can into the dustbin and headed for the bathroom,took of his clothes and turned the tap on.He didn't turn the heater on as it was hot.
"Ahhhh,"James relaxed a bit but was careful not to slip and fall.
He continued to have his 'sauna' for fifteen more minutes before doing his homework.He stepped out of the bath and grabbed a blue towel to dry himself.
He had to towel his hair the most as he had thick hair.But it isn't really thick.
He then wore a clad clean T-shirt and and a pair of shorts.
"Okay homework,here I come," yelled James.He took out his pencil box and his worksheets and started doing them one by one.
The clock on the wall displayed five o' clock already.It took him two whole hours just to finish 3 worksheets,considering he was released from school at two.
"Ah!I still have about one and a half hours to until I go for piano lessons."
James happily told himself.
James wasn't really good at the piano.He wanted to play the guitar first.
His parents always told him to start off with simple instruments,but the piano was hard to him,so he didn't really tried his best.His friend Bailey wanted to become a famous painter while Taylor,an author.

CHAPTER 4
James started to channel-surf as soon as he turned on the TV.There was an old horror movie showing.He stared at the screen in interest and shook a little.
Bats flew out from a cave and a woman walked into it."Don't go in there!" yelled a man behind her.She continued walking through darkness and the animals accompanying her were bats,tarantulas and cockroaches.There was a loud roar and the whole cave shook.James trembled and changed the channel.
He looked at the clock which showed five-thirty.He decided to be early for his lesson so he could chat with his friends more.His friends were always early.
James put on a green sweatshirt and blue jeans.He wore his lucky sneakers as well.Grabbing the keys and walking down the stairs,he hoped he wouldn't suffer from nightmares or insomnia.

CHAPTER 5
The room smelt of perfume as James entered the his piano class.
Only Bailey and two other kids were in the room,waiting for their music teacher,Mrs Dame to enter."Where's Taylor?" asked James. "It's boring without Taylor," "I don't know," Bailey shook his head.There were no clocks in the room,maybe because the teacher did not want any distraction during their plays on the piano.The two chatted away,as time flies.More and more students entered the room.Only three,just entered,in fact.Soon,their teacher arrived and everyone stood up to greet her."Class,let's start with Beethoven's "Fur Elise" please," she told everyone. "You should know how to play everything on the piano.You've been studying for three whole weeks!"
Bailey,James and a student didn't play well and received a B minus.
Only two received an A. The other two received a C plus.
"Class,I hope you will practice Fur Elise for two whole hours today," Mrs Dame announced. "No more excuses!"

CHAPTER 6
James started to ring up Taylor as soon as he went home.
"Hello?" asked James. "Is this Taylor Watson?"
"Taylor?Oh,he's sick.He caught a disease that caused him to be itchy all over.I'm his parent."
"That's terrible,hope he recovers!"
"Thank you,"
The boy and the parent exchanged their "good-byes".
James hung up the phone and breathed heavily.It was exactly eight-forty five.
His parents were supposed to be home by now.Feeling hungry,James went into the kitchen and checked the fridge.He made himself a jam sandwich and stuffed everything in his mouth.It certainly made him feel better.
How could he suffer from such a terrible itch?
"It certainly is strange," murmured James to himself.

CHAPTER 7
The doctors found the man's disease strange and would not believe him being bitten by a large rat.They just classified it as skin disease.
That didn't prove his dizzy spells,though.They did not dissect the man's body as one,the disease might be contagious and two,it was rude not to have the man's permission to do so.His grave was a simple gravestone and his coffin was made of wood as people were not rich back then.His grave was dug up twenty years later,and his coffin was full of holes.But not bullet holes.Holes that were made by a creature that bored through the coffin.The holes were not big and it could fit anyone's little finger.This puzzled everyone."Worms can't burrow through wood,they're not strong enough.Or are they?" one man told another at the sight of the coffin with holes. "Maybe," the other replied. "Or maybe not,"

CHAPTER 8
"Ding...Dong...." rang the door bell. "I'm coming!" yelled James.He reached for the knob and opened the door.His parents stood as the doorway and came into the house.
"Taylor is sick," James told his parents. "That's bad news.He'll recover," replied his father.
Dinner was steamed fish and pasta.James quickly wolfed his food down and went to bed early.He was indeed,tired.He changed into his pyjamas and fell onto bed.He was so sleepy that when he touched the pillow,he began to snore.
He dreamt about rats crawling around his legs and saw Taylor's bloody body on the ground.
As he was about to yell in horror and disgust,he was bitten by a rat."Aargh!" yelled James.He looked around his room and to his relief,there were no rats.Or belvedores.James sat up and wondered about his dream for fifteen minutes.
"Maybe that's what my friend has been bitten by," he said softly to himself.
"A rat...."
After that,James went back to sleep,he dreamt that rats swarmed the whole city,Burger King was swarmed with dead bodies and rats feeding on the bodies.Heaps of corpses were found all over the city and even a few stray dogs were reduced to the bone.
James yelled in disgust and horror.He was frightened and chilled to the bone.

CHAPTER 9
In the 12th century,a doctor who was alone,studied this 'rat'.He had caught two of these creatures and wanted to exterminate them,but noticed it's green eyes.
He dissected it and found out that this 'rat' had venom stored in the roof of it's mouth.
It also carried a disease that caused itchiness.The doctor had another 'rat' bite a deer and minutes later,the deer was as dead as a doo doo.This stunned the doctor.
He was glad of this amazing discovery and he named it "Belvedore".
Since he was lonely,no one knew of this certain rat that lived a long way underground when he died.

CHAPTER 10
"James!Wake up," yelled his mother."Huh?" groaned James. "What time is it?Is it Monday yet?" "No!You had a nightmare!" his mother replied.James wiped the sweat off his face with his sleeve.He sighed.He decided to get out of bed,brush his teeth and eat breakfast.
James kept on thinking of his dream.Then,the telephone rang.James walked to the phone and picked it up."Hello?" asked James. "Taylor is dead,James!Taylor is dead..." the phone then clicked and the line was cut.James stared emptily in space,and his shaking hand dropped the phone.The phone hit the floor with a loud noise.
"James?What happened?" his mother asked.

CHAPTER 11
"I feel sorry for your friend,"said mother.James continue to sob.How could a strong person like Taylor die from a certain disease?He went to the phone and dialed for Taylor's mum.
"Hello?" asked the voice. "Is Taylor really dead?" asked James tearfully.
"Taylor?I've never been to the hospital to check on him yet,"the voice told him.
"Huh?I thought you called me earlier this morning to tell me that Taylor had died!" James nervously spoke into the phone."What?"the voice seemed to sob.
James placed the phone back.He found it strange now,and it didn't seem right.
Then,the phone rang again,and told him that Taylor had passed on.

CHAPTER 12
"Did I just have a premonition,a ghost that told me the news or do I have a doppelganger?"
James questioned himself.Everything did not seem right about the mysterious caller,his dream,his dead friend...all added to his problems.
What solution did James have?Not much,I guess.

"Holes" by Louis Sachar

-"HOLES"-
"Holes" is an interesting book by Louis Sachar,author of the Marvin Redpost series.
Stanley Yelnats was given two options:Go to jail or Camp Green Lake.
He was sent to Camp Green Lake for a crime he never commited.
Stanley comes from a poor family and he blames his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing great-great-grandfather for the curse he's under.
Camp Green Lake was a camp nobody would ever go to.And it was a place for bad boys.In Camp Green Lake,thirst was what you had to get used to for there was really no lake neither was it green.
Scorpions,rattlesnakes and yellow spotted lizards roam the place.
And yellow spotted lizards are the most dangerous lizards ever.
One bite and nobody can do anything.
Anyway,at Camp Green Lake,you just dig holes 5 feet wide and 5 feet deep.
The worst of all,is the Warden.She hits anyone who upsets her.Anyone.
Stanley meets new friends there,each with a nickname.
What treasure is the Warden looking for?Why is it that Green Lake was named after a desserted,sandy place?Find out in this ground-breaking book.

Singapore Art Museum

-A trip to the Singapore Art Museum-
Yesterday,I went to the Singapore Art Museum with my aunt,uncle and brother.
There was an "Indian Art" exhibition displaying lots of interesting art.There were lots of sculptures made of clay,stone,wood or recycled objects.Then,there's this "The Big Picture Show" exhibition,displaying huge pieces of art.It was really interesting.

I'm thinking about those bananas from Worms on the XBLA.
When you throw one,the bunch explodes.Then,the single bananas(about 3-5) bounce about and explode as well.It's powerful as well and could wipe out a group of worms(if their health is 60 or below) of course.The banana bomb is used for begginers.Why you say?'Cause they are explode everywhere,having 90% if damaging your enemies.

DMOD 1:Haunted

I'm working on a DMOD(A Dink Smallwood mod) entitled "Haunted".
However,it might not be published as I am too lazy these days to really work on such hard work.I'm,of course,a beginner in creating DMODs.
I like DMODs like Anarchy Halloween Party(must play) and Dukie's shooting gallery(nice,arcade styled shooting game).
-DMOD 1:Haunted-
STORY:Dink finds himself in an old but huge house.He discovers dark and worn-out portraits of the original owners,cold and dusty furniture and a strangely dark dining hall.
Notes:I made this part easy but frightening to get out of the old house.
He then,gets haunted by a ghost(the owner of the old house).
What will happen next(more appropriate question is:will Dink be haunted for life?)?Find out!

Half-Life 2:Favourite enemies

I hope that the people who sees this post will comment on it and about their favourite monsters.

-HL 2:Monsters/Enemies I like!-

1.The humanoid combines

What can I say?These half-mechanical half-human creatures will do anything to dispose of you.

The super powered gravity gun will dispose them real quick,so does the crossbow(if you're a good shot),shotgun(if they're near) and the rocket launcher and grenades.

I had to admit,I saw a few of them waving to me and yelling,"Hi!" and then shooting the hell outta me(which was not real because he's signalling his mates to get outta the way).

The picture above shows the evolution from our ape ancestors to our future selves.

I ripped it out from Valve's store.I apologise for anything wrong.

Oh,and the third stage is called "Homo sapiens combinus" and the second,"Homo sapiens sapiens".

2.Normal headcrab zombies

These guys will not have anything in their way,and are controlled by their host headcrabs.

They make hideous groaning sounds when their on fire and love to slash at you with their arms.

Here's a tip:Aim at the host than the body of its victim.It only takes one good shot.

These zombies throws stuff at you,break wooden planks and walk around mindlessly.

They don't notice their surroundings(except for you,people and their friends(other zombies)).

As mentioned on Gamespot's "Zombie Or Not",they are claimed NOT to be zombies by zombie purist Alex Navarro.The reason?No mouths to bite,chew or spread the disease/infection.

After all,they are controlled by headcrabs.

3.Antlions

These insect looking creatures are although no match for Gordon,they are still fierce and attack fiercely.Their leader is more huge,powerful and kicks ass more.You'll need the shotgun which packs a good punch.Grenades,rocket launchers and explosive drums kill 'em quick.The best part of the game,is when you control these creatures.Yes,they'll think your their leader just with you holding an antlion bait.Throw these at different places to command them to go there or throw the bait at enemies to get your fellow mates to kill 'em all!

Squeeze the bait to make them follow you.The level where you controll these cool creatures?

It's Sandtraps in Half-Life 2.From the level Entanglement onwards,you won't control them. :(

I've got this game and it includes HL 2(Half-Life 2),HL 2:E1,HL 2:E2,Portal and Team Fortress 2.Unfortunately,I don't have an Xbox Gold membership :( .But,the good thing is,I am happy with the rest of the games!
Half-Life 2 and it's series are so good,it kept me addictedPortal is cool,you get to mess around with physics and Laws of gravity.Need I say more?Team Fortress 2 has better graphics and more better maps.Of course,you'll need Gold membership.Everything in one box!Get it!

-Beyond Reality 2-
"No..."I backed away."You're too late," whispered the face.A ball of lightning shot out from the powerful orb to the piece of hung corpse.The ball exploded on impact,leaving the corpse on the floor.I turned back to the orb,but it already disappeared.The corpse on the floor resurructed and became alive.I couldn't believe it.I ran to the door and tried to open the door,but the door knob broke and I was stuck with an undead.The dead man outstretched his arms and shambled towards me.I kicked it in the chest and it fell down....for now.I looked at the temperature meter at a corner and it seemed to decreased.The room got colder and I wrapped my arms around myself.I shivered.I then heard a noise at a corner.As I turned,I could see the orb again.
"You've passed the test,"the face said."Go out...Now..."I ran to the door and my heart pounded hard.Strangely,the doorknob on the floor raised up higher and placed itself in to the hole where it was.I reached for it and turned it.....Will I really get out of this place?I turned the knob and light was shone on me."NO!"I screamed in utter disappointment.The room infront of me was an excact duplicate...of mine!

A special story for Halloween. :)
-BEYond Reality 1-
As I frantically hit the keyboard keys,my computer hung again."Darn!" I hissed.
I had to do some important project that was due on Monday and I groaned at the thought of it.
The computer gave me trouble and I wasn't in the mood.A tone played and was coming from my purse beside me.I reached into it and fished out my mobile phone."Hello?" I asked into the phone.A faint voice sounded,"Hello?Hey,Do you want to eat out tonight at a restaurant with my client and me?We're discussing some important buisness matters." "Yeah,whatever,"I spoke intro the phone."Jerk!" "Okay,okay," James sounded."Don't get so mad.Be early at Pin street tonight at 7 p.m. ," I agreed and cut him off.Sometimes,I wonder why I am so rude!
I looked at the computer screen and I was finally able to get some work done.

I got off the taxi and James was already there,neatly dressed."Let's go,"he told me.
I followed him into a brightly lited alley and there were a few shops.We stopped at a restaurant with only three customers inside.A handsome man in a buisness suit seemed to be waiting and when he turned to us,he smiled.I was introduced to him and I learned his name was Sam.
The waiter came up to us and asked us for our orders."A large 'meat' please," ordered Sam.
I only ordered a glass of orange juice.Sam and James discussed about their stuff and I looked around.It was an ordinary restaurant,but what was special about it?

The 'meat' was served and it was red and steam rosed from it.The aroma was delicious and I had to have a bite.I cut a bit of meat off it and dug my fork into it.I place the meat in my mouth and it was the most delicious meat I have eaten.I couldn't resist it and had a few more bites.French fries and a plate of prawns came,but I didn't bother.I had the whole meat to myself.I then,had the terrible feeling in my stomach.I needed to use the bathroom."Excuse me," I told the men.I hurried off into a corner with a few doors.I saw a red sign on the door but didn't bother to look at it carefully.I place my hand on the door knob and felt a cold sensation around me.I twisted the knob and entered a dark room...

I felt cold,alone and terrified.I flicked on the switch on a wall and the lights went on.I looked at a corner,not far away from me and it was a SKINNED HUMAN.
It's muscles were still intact,preserved.The closed eyes,hung opened mouth didn't seem right.I opened my mouth to scream,but it came out as a small squeak.Blood dripping could be heard in a corner and I was confronted by a small orb."Why are you here?" I seemed to scream at me,but it was a small scream.Nothing could hear me.I stared at empty space and muttered,"Trapped." The orb had a feeling whenever you go near it.I stared hard into it and saw a video...a piece of memory.I could see blood flooding a room,then a butcher chopping human organs and limbs.I was sucked into what seemed to be beyond reality.I shook my self from the trance.The orb then,displayed a face.I screamed and panicked.It then spoke,"The 'meat' you have eaten was of a human,your own kind."

How to create good climaxes in stories

-Tips to creating a good climax in stories-
Everyone knows a good story requires an exciting climax,right?If you want to know the basics,
read on.
***
-Basically,the character is involved with something dangerous,or goes through something fun or cool.The character may also face difficulties or does something amazing(that can also be nervous).
-Climaxes need a logical explanation and flows with the storyline.
-Climaxes are usually the most exciting part of the story.
-Example:A man facing 3 gangsters and fighting them is a climax.
A man that had managed to defeat the gangsters in not climax.It is the resolution.
-Add on interesting elements to your climax to make it more exciting.
Example:The man faced a bigger opponent.Although he was hurt in the process,he managed to avoid his opponent's attacks.

Dead Rising: How to defeat Cletus

-Dead Rising: How to defeat Cletus-

Steps/Things to do:
Note: You do not have to bring guns or other weapons. What you need can be found in North Plaza (you can bring in other weapons such as Adam's chainsaw).
---
*What to get/Where to get them*
1. You can either get a few raw meat(make sure they're not rottten), cartons of milk or apples (get at least 2 or 3). You can find them at Seon's Food and Stuff nearby. Make sure you leave at least two spaces in your inventory.
2. Go to Ripper's Blades and get 2 katanas (or 3-4 if you're weak in terms of attacking).
*Directions to pyschopath*
3. You are ready to fight Cletus. Backtrack to where you came from until you can find a red sign saying 'Hunting Shack' and an arrow pointing to the right, into another route.
4. Continue down and open the doors of the shop (Hunting Shack).
5. A cutscene shows James who tries to get firearms but gets a stomachful of buckshot by Cletus.

*Fighting the psychopath*
6. Now, hide behind the shop display on your right where you start. It should be the one nearest to the counter.
7. Hide behind it and wait until Cletus stops his shooting.
8. While he is reloading, run up to him and slash him with the katana. Get back to your spot: behind the shop display.
9. Continue this process until Cletus is dead.A cutscene shows Cletus running out of the shop and into zombie James. He is then killed by 'James'.
10. You will recieve PP and gain to access his shop loaded with shotguns, sniper rifles,and pistols!

Extras:
1. If Cletus is drinking wine, take a shot of him with your camera to earn lots of PP. However, you'll need a quick trigger to do so.
2. Cletus has wine bottles behind the counter. If you are daring/desperate enough, grab them (although you might get hauled back if you're too late).
3. Getting too close to him results in him lifting you up and throwing you (which causes 1 life block to be depleted).

Dead Rising

An Xbox 360 game I decided that was worth posting and blogging about.
-Dead Rising-
First of all,this good game offers greats sounds and good graphics.
The blood,however,is exaggeratedly too much.A punch at a zombie will cause blood to form blood splat on the floor,which is what you would get if you cut your wrists.
Graphics:9/10
Sound:10/10
Storyline:8/10(Zombie outbreaks caused by experiments gone wrong are pretty common.)
Gameplay:9/10
Overall:9/10
Worth:8/10
Replay value:10/10
The weapons in this game are scattered everywhere.In this game,you level up by earning PP.
PP is earned by killing zombies,defeating psychopaths(bosses),rescuing survivors,taking photographs and doing other things like running the treadmill in the shop 'Flexin'.
Leveling up gets you new skills and upgrading your attack levels and more.
You have to solve cases and get to do side-missions.Need me say more?
And yes,there are also costumes and weapons to be unlocked.Infinity mode and overtime mode are also unlockable.

Impossible Criminal 1/4

A story I decide to write.
-Impossible Criminal-
I walked down the pavement on this Sunday morning. I entered a cafe, thinking about a certain criminal.A criminal...Which was almost impossible to catch. I sat down on a chair beside the window. Light shone in through and I ordered a cup of coffee. I looked out of the window to see crowds of people walking about. There comes the paperboy. "Extra! Extra! Unknown H strikes a gain!"
Unknown H? That's the criminal I tried to hunt down the last two years.
My coffee was served and I took slow sips of it. You would never know anything much about him, do you? I hurriedly gulp down my coffee,paid my bill and walked out of the cafe. I had to head back to the police headquarters and do my duty:catching criminals.Little did I know I have to catch something special...

NE show and P5 camp

I just came back from P5 camp the day before yesterday.
Woah.And I had to go with my class to the NE show(rehearsal for NDP) last Saturday.
-NE show-
I received my fun pack in school and me and my class rode on a bus to the bridge near the Esplanade.
There,I could see tons of people at the Marina Bay,mostly from other schools.
To start off the show,there was some singing by famous singers that I've never heard of.Then,the singers sang the 2007 ND songs.There were actually performances performed by the Singapore Army and more.My favourite performance was the under water one and the performers wore colourful costumes of fishes and other under water creatures.To cut the story short,it was about a red fish that represented Singapore and seem to appear at different times in the middle of the show.Oooh...

I actually enjoyed the 2nd day of it because there was a campfire and I got to do the zip line(flying fox).I felt homesick on the 1st and 2nd day of it and ended up with tears.My favourite part of the day was when you get to sleep.Ahh...

All I could see was a younger person and I think he's in his twenties.
I went up to him and politely asked,"Could I speak to the man working here a few days ago?"The young man looked at me."He's off today.Here's his card and get out of my shop if you are not buying anything!"I went out with Samad and my brother."What's wrong with that guy?"asked Samad.I just shrugged.
I went back home with Samad."I still have to meet the mysterious person!" I told Derek and Samad."I'll go with you,"Samad told me.Derek refused to tag along.It's only tomorrow midnight till I'll be able to meet this mysterious person.Samad told Derek and me to make a plan.After an hour of planning,Samad went home while Derek and I were having dinner.Is the plan really going to work?I asked my mother and father politely,"Can I go out at 12 midnight tomorrow?I have something really urgent."My mother asked me back,"What is so urgent as to keep you from sleeping?"I told them my problem about the mysterious man even when I know that they won't believe me.
My parents told me and my brother to go upstairs to our rooms after finishing our dinner.They meanwhile,had a secret discussion.After the discussion,they had decided on wether to let me go to Hamburger street tomorrow,midnight.

Quake 2

I got the Quake 4 game for Xbox 360 and it included Quake 2 and the making of Quake 4 and I decided to write a review for Quake 2.

First of all,Quake 2 is awsome.The graphics maybe lame to some,but the gameplay is just awsome.There's more than seven cool weapons to use and fire and there's lots of enemies and gore.This game might be fun to me,but it's also creepy when enemies pop out and shoot you behind you.Other than that,the explosions look like a small atomic bomb explosion which is pretty cool and the death animations look good.Here's some game features:
-About 10 weapons to find and use!
-Armour,health,Quad damage,rebreather and more to pick up!
-Keys,CDs,switches and more things to use!
-More than 10 enemies and bosses!
-More than 15 levels and deathmatch levels!
-Old school graphics!
-Great 3D enviroment and atmosphere!

2.What is House of the Dead 2 about?
ANS: House of the Dead 2 is a rail shooter,which means you cannot move around and can only shoot. In HOTD 2, you either play as two AMS agents, Gary and James.You must fight your way through hordes of zombies and bosses, save civilians and get to the high score.You must get to Goldman, where you'll fight the ending boss.

3.How do I unlock [Insert item here] in the original mode?
ANS: Shoot barrels and crates to find hidden items in the original mode.
You can also shoot certain things in the game to unlock them.
Some hidden items can be found by rescuing civilians.They'll give it to you.

4.How many endings are there (and what are they)?
ANS: There are three different endings, each determined by your score.
Bad ending: You encounter Goldman as a zombie.
Neutral ending: You see Harry, Amy, G and all the civilians.

Human brain

The human brain is complex.No one on earth knows what it holds or how much it holds.The human brain stores many information and memory with the help of your senses.An average human brain weighs about 1kg plus.
The main part of your brain is the cerebrum(not to be confused with cerebellum).There are four main parts of the cerebrum:the frontal lobe,the temporal lobe,the parietal lobe and the occipital lobe.Each part has its own part.The cerebrum controls memory and your senses.Another thing about the cerebrum is that it is halved.One part is the right hemisphere and the other,the left hemisphere.However there is also the cerebellum which controls movements,control of balance and posture.
There is also the limbic system which controls survival instincts,drives and moods.The brain stem is connected to your spinal cord and controls breathing,heart rate and more.It can be divided into three parts:midbrain,pons and medula oblongata.

Insects:Why do most of us hate them?

Imagine this scenario:A group of teenagers were camping.One of them,poked a beehive for fun.Suddenly,bees started rushing out of the beehive,trying to sting the whole lot of teenagers.Then,one of them took out a 'Anti-Bee spray' from his bag and went on a spraying spree.Every bee was killed.

The above story tells us that it is unfair to the bees because the youngster,who knew that poking a beehive will result in bees trying to sting you,but he did it intentionally.The bees were killed in the end.For fair judgement,the whole lot should have ran away or jump into a deep puddle of water.That way,the bees would have fly away back into their beehive.But still the moral of this story is never to disturb insects(especially when you know you're doing it).

Why do some people dislike/hate insects?
Most of us hate insects probably because they are annoying or look ugly.
Fact is,insects don't live long and are mostly to be killed or eaten by other creatures.The giant waterbug may look huge,ugly and scary but it bites people because it is either frightened or annoyed.By the way,a tiny insect is way more scared than you are of it.More than thousands of insects are being killed by people everyday.Cockroaches are being called a pest because they dirty and eat our food but it's their way of living and they need to survive.Cockroaches are not really dirty creatures.It has cleans itself on some of the times.The only dirty part of a cockroach is its legs.One last thing:eyes of an insect may look huge and scary but they can't help it.Their eyes are actually quite useful in some ways.

What can we do to prevent insects from extinction?
We can do alot of ways to protect them.
1.If you see a cockroach,use an empty jar and to hold the cockroach in it.
Release it outside in the grass.
2.Place garlic or anything that has a strong smell(don't place bad smelling stuff) in places where you store food.Ants dislike those.
3.For flies,shoo them outside but not kill them!

I did feel homesick and it started on the fifth day of my trip(8 days,the eighth day is when we go home).I cried on the fifth day and the seventh day.
Whoa...I cried on the sixth day because I was trapped(yes,trapped) on the bus.
I was waiting for oredrs to our respective lodges when I slept.No one was beside me.my friends were infront and I was 2 seats behind them.When I woke up,it was total darkness and the bus was locked.I was trapped!I tried to break the windows and grab hold of the neck of a bottle and tried to smash it against a window.Failed.Then I tried to use the emergence window where you have to push it out.Failed.I remembered that the driver often open the window beside him.I did it and tried to climb out with my stuff.I couldn't fit and shouted for help.I soon was in a lodge...finally.Turns out about 2 or 1 boy(s) were to count the remaining boys on the bus.It was supposed to be 7 but they counted 6 and didn't bother to count any boys at the back.The teachers learnt a lesson.
It was quite exciting after all.

Creature feature 1

I drew this picture using Microsoft Paint.I picked the cockroach,the maggot and the earthworm.It wasn't very long but it took time to draw both the maggot and the earthworm becuase I used the brush option and the option where you can use both the rounded rectangle and the ellipse to draw isn't much of help.
I had the urge to draw them.Check back for 'Creature feature 2'.

If you want to know why I made the comic strip today was because I wanted to reflect what had REALLY happened today.
-In school(25 May 2007)-
Today's incident started when we were allowed to go to the computer lab to play or do anything we wanted on the internet.My friend,Justin,showed me his newly created blog.Before this,he told me that he plagiarised my blog.Back to the computer lab where he showed me he pasted and copied a few posts.
I wanted those to be taken down and asked him politely.He refused.I then,threatened to alert Blogger.He told me he didn't care if the police arrested him or what.I was quite angry.I immediately logged into my ol' Blogger account and wrote about him.It contained infomation about him and that he stole some of my posts without permission.Mr Steven Tan wasn't much of help either.He gave the excuse of saying I had no copyrights.Now,this made Justin angry and what shocked me is that he cried.He was full of rage and all.He told me he wanted to kill me.He fists were clenched tightly,as if in a boxing match.
But it wasn't the end yet.No one was hurt(luckily).He went on cursing me.
I didn't care.Some of my classmates asked him why he was crying and blamed me for making him cry.I apologised but was still not in a good mood.
That was when Mr Tan's period was over.We went back to class and was ready to be taken by Mr Eric Tan.Bryan asked why I had to make him cry and when I explained to him he copied my blog,he said that copying other's work is OK.I told explained to him until he understood.Mr Tan came to our class and to everyone's surprise,he told us to go back to the computer lab.Everyone was cheering.Of course,Justin didn't sit with me and things just went on smoothly.We were supposed to assemble outside our classes for our "End of Term"service.I held a racket that was in a corner up high and meanwhile,asking everyone whose it belonged to.Ravinpal snatched the racket from me and pushed me away.He told me not to touch his stuff.
Then Mdm Mak said that I was from bad to worse because I PLACED MY BAG AGAINST THE WALL OPPOSITE ME!?!WHAT!?!THAT IS RIDICULOUS!
Andre whispered a question about making people cry.
Coming back to the talkings and singing of songs,after the bell for "School's out!" thing,everyone screamed.However,we had to be dismissed the second or third I think.I immediately told Andre that I did not like making people cry.
He then said,"I didn't ask whether you like making people cry or not,why did you make him cry?"
"Cos' he copied my work and I don't like making people cry,"
"Copy can what,"
"Plagiarism isn't good,"
We argued along the way down.That was when Andre rushed to his mother and she carried his schoolbag.I went down and wanted to teach Andre an important lesson.I went up to his mom and greeted her.Then,I politely asked her if copying other's work is okay.You know what the answer is!I then told Andre,"Is it that you must be embarrassed then you will learn?"Andre was speechless.
Who was wrong and right?You decide.

I created this post based on an incident that happened today.

A story I had in mind:The head on a stick

I was walking home from school when I thought of a story.A horror one.
I decided to write it in my blog.Hopefully,I have enough time to write the whole thing.I will also write more episodes of "Watch of Terror!".
-The head on a stick-
I am an ordinary schoolboy.I go to school,study and come home.It's like a cycle.
But I was walking home from school as usual.A crack on the bottom of a wall caught my eye.The crack was on a shop selling prosthetic body parts.I looked carefully at the crack.It was so sudden that there was a crack.I had never seen it.I then heard faint cries for help.I was curious and searched for anything that's strong.I grabbed a pole and struck it at the crack several times.When I struck the wall with the metal pole,the crack grew bigger and it broke open.Big and small stones crumbled into the hole.I peered in.It had darkness surrounding it.Strange?Very.I found out that I could fit in and crawled in.Now,this hole does not lead to the shop but to an underground cave.It was very dusty and smelt of rotten meat and I tried to find my way around.I tripped on something rather heavy.The cries for help had already died.Silence.I pulled out a torchlight from my harvest sack and shone it into the darkness.I shone it around the cave.I was really angry at the stone for tripping me.I then,shone my torchlight at the part where I tripped and was ready to kick it when I found out it wasn't a stone."NO!"I screamed at a cold and dead body.Blood was smeared all over the corpse.The body was decapitated.And it was only had a pair of pants on.
I rushed for the hole and crawled out of it.Something was tugging on my leg.I struggled out but the grip was too strong and I fell back into the hole.A shadowy figure looked at me and tried to bite me.I managed to escape and ran out of the hole.When I was out,I peered into the hole and the figure was gone.
I reached home at about four.I had no appetite for spaghetti with tomato sauce and meat balls for luch.The tomato sauce looked like blood.And it smelled bad."Mom,where did you order this meal?"I shouted.No response.Something in my spaghetti moved.I used my fork and used it to dig out all the strings of spaghetti and placed them on the edge of the plate.I squinted and saw a finger!"Ah!"I screamed again.I looked at it,screaming in terror."Mom!Come quick!"I screamed.My mother rushed to me and looked at my plate.You would expect the finger to vanish but no.She grabbed whole of the finger at placed it on the table."We have to call the police and tell them about the finger,"she told me.I was still in shock of what had happened.I went upstairs and did my homework.I went down for dinner and ate hungrily at my noodles.I had too much to eat and felled asleep.
I woke up and rubbed my head.I had a nightmare.About bodies.
I told my elder brother Ivan about it but he wasn't bothered.
I changed for school and ran there.I finished school and went out.I forgot about the finger and dead body.I went back and heard something.A hollow voice murmured:"Death".I turned around and I saw a head pierced through a stick.Not only that,it was green."Death!"It shouted."DEATH!"
"No!"I shouted and ran.I ran really fast.I was panting when I reached the door of my house.I unlocked it and found out the door knob was moving.Someone turned it.Mom and dad were already at work and won't come back until an hour later.I locked the door when I was inside and took a bath.
I had no homework for today and decided to play the latest game 'Car Madness'.
The game was loading and I was on the menu.I started a new race and I played it.I raced like crazy and enjoyed it.I was driving halfway on level five when an obstacle appeared.I looked closely and it was the same head on a stick!

Note:I wanted to mess around and do something so I have made a list of how many types of death.Here is the list:
1.When animals go bad
-Snakes,crocodiles and sharks have sharp teeth/fangs.However,a human is most likely to be bitten by a snake or a crocodile than to be a shark.
-Wild elephants and horses may gore you...to death!
-Wild tigers and lions kill and eat anything that's big and tasty...run!
-Scorpions and spiders have fatal stings/fangs.You have been warned.
-Ever felt scare of the seas because of a serpent or a giant squid?There was no sign of a serpent but there was a giant squid.
2.Fiery fire
-Wild bush fires have burned and killed many plants and animals in Australia.
-Fire burns and roast human meat.
-You are lucky if you have a slight burn.Some have burns so bad that they melt your arm.
-Volcanoes spit out flaming volcanic rocks.It is instant death.
-Lava will do a good job...of melting!
3.Spin the earth
-Earthquakes reaped many peoples' lives and destroyed trees and buildings.
The friction of the ground rocks violently and cracks appear.
4.Wild wind
-The hurricane is one strong wind.
-The tornado sucks everything in its path,and then throws them straight to the ground.
5.Watery waters
-Drowning is common...but terrible.Your lungs take in water and you choke.
Then,you can't breathe and ........
-Tsunamis are extremely scary and it is like a huge wave that splashes on you.
6.Hateful heights
-I do not hate heights but I fear them.Jumping down a cliff or a building isn't much fun either.
-Most suicides include jumping down from a high building.
7.Murderous men
-Humans often murder others.
-One reason is for food.
-Others include revenge or anger.
-Money is also a reason why people murder others each year.
8.Super supernatural(unexplained)
-You may have heard of black magic or voodoo dolls but are they real?
-Wizards use curse spells on their enemies.
-Love potions won't kill but make someone love you.
9.No rest for everyone
-Food and water provides energy for humans.When the glucose from food we eat is mixed with oxygen,it becomes stored energy for use.
-The most important is (fron most important to least important) oxygen,water and food.
10.Scary liquids
-Poison is used in detergent and lead.
-Poison can kill.If they don't,the can give you a stomach ache.
-Acid can burn...and infect organs.
11.Lighted lightning
-Lightning normally strikes tall trees and the people below it for shelted.
-Don't stand under the rain during a storm.Immediately seek for shelter and not under a tree!
12.Exploding explosions
-Grenades and dynamites are used as weapons to kill.
-They are used commonly during a war.
13.Bloody blood
-Losing too much blood can lead to death.
14.Gun the gunner
-Guns are used to kill.
-Cannons,grenades and other explosives can blow up people to gibs*.
*=In games,gibs is usually small remains of living body parts(eyeball,teeth..etc).

he replied.I had to agree.Why didn't I think of that?
Everything went smoothly in school.Samad,Derek and I went to the shop that sold me the blue MegaWatch...But there was no sign of the mysterious man...

Think about mosquitoes

Note:I am not asking or pleading you to heed nor follow any of the below infomation.You may follow if you want.Nope,I am not responsible for any I injuries,diease or death occured or happened.
I was utterly/quite dissapointed that the fact of male mosquitoes killed whilst people neing encouraged to NOT breed moquitoes and get rid of them.
Why?Male mosquitoes help pollinate flowers(I think and I am 85% sure) while they taste the sweet nectar.So I wanted to alert everyone around me and the people reading my blog not to kill mozzies on flowers(especially Singaporeans).
If mosquitoes die out,it becomes history.Some people may even be happily clapping their hands and when you ask them,the might give excuses like,"Oh,I don't know that!" or the popular,"So?".Mozzies may be a pest but I don't want them to be extinct.It's a hard decision to decide whether we should save mosquitoes or not.If we do,people might die of dieases and if we don't,we lose a pollinater.Oops.You can disagree with everything above if you want.

The truth of death

What is death?Death is one thing.The end of our life.No one knows what is after death.Reincarnated?Meeting our gods?Forever of nothingness?No one knows.
"You may be a king or a little street sweeper,but sooner or later,but everyone dances with the grim reaper."-Taken from Bill and Ted's Bogus journey.There were different versions for this quote and it seemed popular.I first saw this quote from Russel Lee's Ghost stories book 13(I think).Reincarnating means that when you die,your soul is left from your body and into a new one when the sperm fertilises the female egg.Or for plants,it is different.Who knows,you might reincarnate into a fly or a plant or even an elephant.You also might go up to heaven and meet the gods.Or even to hell.Some believe that there is forever 'nothingness'.One thing.Which idea to believe?It's up to you.Some day,I will continue this topic.Maybe days later.

It's eyes made me nervous.I felt like asking it a million questions but I couldn't open my mouth.Somehow...The face opened it's mouth and started to speak."I want...YOU,"it grinned."You are someone whom I want to meet...I would like you at Hamburger Street,during midnight this Thursday or else..."I felt that was crazy.Who would want to meet some creepy person during midnight?"But I can't,my parent's won't allow me to be awake at midnight,"I told to the hideous face on my watch."I don't care whether your parents allow you or not,I want you HERE,"The face told me.Suddenly,it disappeared mysteriously,as if it wasn't there!What was I going to do?I decided to sleep.The next day,I woke up and found my watch sitting on the bed.I decided not to wear it just for today.I went for a cold shower and ate breakfast.I proceeded to the bus stop with my brother,Derek.I also met Samad there.He looked at me and noticed something."Say,where's your new watch?"he asked.I know that grown-ups won't believe me,but I hope my friend does."I met a monster inside my watch and it told me to meet him this Thursday,"I told Samad confidently,as the same time,hoping he would believe me."A monster?Cool!I love monsters,"he said."If this is the truth,I believe you."Phew!"See?I told you that man who sold the watch to you is a monster!"Derek blurt out."Not that!"I scolded him.The bus came and we boarded it.I sat beside Samad while Derek sat beside this other friend.I checked my watch:7.05 am.Wait a minute...I didn't wear my blue Megawatch!I pinched myself to see if it was a dream but it isn't."Samad,look my watch!"I told him.He dropped his jaw.

If you are in Singapore,don't kill mosquitoes on flowers because they might be males and male mosquitoes don't suck blood.I find it difficult to solve humans and mosquitoes.I don't want humans to be affected by malaria or dengue.Neither do I want mosquitoes to be killed and not to be giving birth.Hard desicion,aye?
Another thing is in europe or the USA but I forgot their association name but they capture poisonous frogs and kill em' and use them as fertilliser.Eww...
They would be better off using crocodiles instead.Or snakes(I do not despise crocodiles or snakes!).

Adding of unlike fractions

-Unlike fractions-
An unlike fraction is discovered when,for example,you try to add 2 fractions of more with different denominators.Here's a few with guides to explain to you better:
4/9+3/18=8/18+3/18
=?
You notice that 4/9 becomes 8/18.No,it ain't magic!Note that you must always change the two or one denominator(s) to the same number EQUALLY.
I am talking about the denominators now.Look at the denominator of 4/9 and 8/18.9x2=18.4x2=8.The denominator is the same as 3/18's.Checkpoint done..
Next,when you times the denominator by 2 to make 18,the numerator which is 4 has to times by 2.Its like when you times the denominator by 3,for example,the numerator must be times the same amount of number you did for the denominator(which is of course,3!).Tah-dah!Checkpoint 2,done!So the answer is 8/18+3/18=11/18(Note:You must not add the denominator!Basic fraction skills needed!).
2/6+2/4=4/12+6/12
=?
Surprised?This might seem hard but the question above just uses the same concept.Always times the denominators till you get the same number.One important thing is that you times them to the 'earliest' number.For example,when you times 4 and 3,the 'earliest' number that you can get is 12,although you can also get 24 each.Once you get both to have the same denominators,times the same number as you did for the denominator but now,for the numerator.Example,look at 2/6.If you times 6 by 2 to get 12,2 must also times 2(just like 6) and you get 4/12.Once you use this same concept for both fractions,add them all up.The answer for this question is 10/12.

I got this game 'Catz' for GBA.I spent
24 dollars for this game and it can be great,depending on your liking for cats or virtual pet games.I think that this game is good enough for me.Its just that 14 days is just too short.Maybe 28 days is okay.It is up to you whether you want this game or not.You can feed your cat,play with it or groom it and more stuff.
This game brings back memories...kinda.
-Sterilisation of real cats-
I think that this may not be agreeable but I just want to write out my thoughts and feelings for sterilisation for cats.First of all,I don't think it's THAT good.But that's just my opinion.Here's why.Who doesn't like a new life coming into this world?Who doesn't like kittens?You may not like them but their parents do.It's just the same:parents are having babies everyday.Why not sterilise them?Isn't it just the same?Isn't it?We humans sterilise humans.Same.You may be thinking:'Kittens are not the same as babies.Babies matter more than kittens.They are more clever,'Hello?Who cares whether babies are clever or not?Aren't kittens and babies living things?I agree that too much population of kittens can be bad as they may not be fed so easily but still,I hope that everybody notices this and knocks sense into the government.Cats and kittens are cute to me.Cat lovers can take care of them.This is just an opinion from me.

-Daryl Wu stepped into the watch shop...is he going to face danger?
-Watch of Terror! Part 2-
I looked around and saw many watches in display."May I help you?"A man in glasses looked at me."Actually,I want to buy a watch that functions quite well,"
I answered."You know,something that has accurate timing and a stop watch in it."The man with glasses looked at me."I have just the thing you may want."He grinned.He then showed me a watch that came in a variety of colours but all of them has the same function."This,is the MegaWatch,kiddo,"He explained and fiddled his glasses."It tells time,dates and the temperature."I looked at him with amazement."What's more,it also has a time watch.""How much is it?"I asked,hoping it wasn't expensive."Not much,I just want five dollars for any colour you want,"he told me.Wow!I couldn't resist the temptation to buy it.
I chose the blue 'MegaWatch' and bought it."What's in that bag?"Samad told me when I got out."Just the so-called 'MegaWatch',"I said."And why were you guys so quiet in the shop?You both acted like ghosts!""I don't like that man in glasses.He gives me the creeps.What's more,the shop has a wierd name,"Derek remarked."Come on!You must have been watching too much movies,that's the cause of your problems!"I chided him.Samad could only laugh.When we returned home,mum already cooked dinner,so we sat down and ate her special fish."Mmm,your mum's cooking is good,"Samad commented.After dinner,Samad had gone home and I decided to check my new watch out,so I took the watch case out of the bag and opened it.The watch glistened under the lights.It must be polished,I thought.The watch had an accurate time.That's when Derek came into the room."You know what?"he told me."That man maybe some kind of freaky and I think he is some kind of a monster.""Nonsense!"I disagreed."What rubbish!"Derek grumbled and went into his room.My brother has wild imagination and all kind of fantasy things.I went into my bedroom and saw a message on the watch.It read:Are you a human?I thought yes and surprisingly,the message changed and it said:If you are a human,tell me wether you are a boy or girl.That shocked me.Is there any error or mistake in this watch?How could it read my mind?Why was it asking me questions?My watch suddenly showed another panel of words:Do not delay time.I screamed when a face in my watch appeared.

This really wierd thing happened to me during the holidays.That's about my new watch.My name is Daryl Wu and my brother is Derek Wu.Oh yes,I almost forgot...my friend's name is Samad...Samad came to my house one day during the holidays to play my new computer game 'Dungeon Adventures'.We completed the game and thats when I suggested,"How about we go to the new mall?""Yeah!"Samad answered."I remember to buy a copy of the latest issue of Gamer's magazine and see if its in stock there."Everyone agreed to go and when we reached the entrance, a few cardboard signs were advertising about plants and other things but they weren't very interesting to me.I looked around and saw many colourful shops with colourful signboards above them.Let's see...I looked around.Aha!There it is!There was a watch shop with a colourful neon sign called"Harvey's watches of happy moods".What a wierd name,I thought.But then,my stomach growled."Hey guys,how about we grab a bite first?"I asked."That's ok but where's the fast food place?"asked Derek.I looked around and jabbed a finger at a shop selling burgers and hotdogs and said,"Let's go!"We bought our food and find a place to sit down."Mmm..."everybody responded when they took their first bite into the burger and began munching on their burgers happily."I have to admit...these are the best burgers I have ever eaten in my entire life,"Samad munched on his burger. "Yeah!"I responded,with bits of bread and lettuces in my mouth.Later,I went into the watch shop I saw earlier.How I wished I didn't step in here!

Band Blues:Ep 1

During band,this dude name Ee Ter decided to make fun of me.But

you know what?We had a peace treaty.And things didn't turn out so

bad after all....BUT he called me names like 'senior lover','credit stealer' or

'mallet(glockenspiel) spoiler'.That kinda let me down....

Saying these stuff makes me uneasy typing.Why?Cause' thinking about what he

did to me...I feel I could hammer a 9 pound mallet on his face.

Naa..I won't do that.But Shen Hao was also another one making fun of me along with Ee Ter and a couple of other friends.

But Ee Ter and I had another peace treaty and he wanted me to create a

'candyman' comic.Wierd.But Ee Ter's cool.But for Shen Hao...Not really(sorry Shen Hao).Anyway gotta go.

Finally,Face Prints 2!Actually it was supposed to be posted yesterday but
had to go visiting during CNY the whole afternoon.At night,tried to post it but my Dad used the computer and I had to use the other computer instead.Yes,and
that computer doesen't really log into blogger!All I see was a white patch
supposingly covering the whole 'Username:______','Password:________'
and 'Log in'.Is it a bug or the computer?-->[Your opinion.]

The title explains it all.During CNY yesterday,had to go visiting to my
Granddad's house and recieved many Hong Baos(red packets).
Had loads of fun and saw Issac the baby(first time) and Jerrain(few years
old).And if you ask how much money I collected,it is above a two hundred dollars. Two hundred and fifty dollars and above to be more accurate...
Yes,and to be honest,my Mum cooked Teochew styled steamed fish and some
more dishes.

Yes,and that's Ravenholm.Its infamous for:
-being taken over by head crab zombies
-dark and gloomy
-abandoned
-having groans from zombies that can create noise pollution
-dead bodies and a load more random stuff.
-ZOMBIES-
The zombies can be such a pain but I found out
that they are also feeling pain themselves.

Yes,and the part I am about to tell you is creepy.
You know head crab zombies make alot of scary and loud noises.
But if you record a zombies groan(the main head crab ones) and
play the groan backwards,there will be horrifying voices.
You can hear them crying for help...creepy.....
If zombies are burned,the victim still could make out their surroundings.
Apart from having head crabs on their heads.
If you wanna take the risk and hear the groans played backwards,
go wikipedia.com and search for headcrabs.Scroll down to the first
zombie under the 'zombie' section.Click on a link that is the groan.

I was born a few days ago and now I am hungry.
So hungry I could eat a horse.
I had luck and a huge watermelon fell from storeys above
and it came down splitting into many pieces.
I devoured hungrily on the remains of the chewy bits as well as the
juice(all headcrabs are omnivores).
I guess scavenging is my way of surviving.

Some human threw a half-rotted fish on the floor
and I tucked into it until it was bones.
A few other head crabs met me and I am their friends....

the stage of an adult.

My cousin went back to Australia and I had gone back to school.
Still has the regular schedule of Band(Every Tue and Thu).
Anyway,It is long since I posted but...I have twice the amount of homework I usually recieve.I hadn't had time....well,not maybe.
I am having PSLE next year so I had goals set already...
For sometime,I might not be posting often anymore to keep up with work.
